How gory is the movie ?

The gory scenes from Crimson Peak was fine for me. But I can't stand the bloody deaths from Final Destination though.
I wondered how bloody and gory this movie is, and how long each scenes last.
Thanks :)

I would rate the gore in this a 9/10.

It really only earns that grade from two incredibly graphic and horrific scene and the rest of the movie is mostly mild pedestrian violence.
But trust me, chances are, you have never seen gore of this nature on screen before in these 2 scenes.

The most shocking thing is that in one of those two scenes, the camera just does not cut away. It gives you a completely unflinching view of something horrific. I can't believe they got away with this!

A Cure for Wellness easily blows Crimson Peak out of the water when it comes to gore. The scenes from this stay with you long after the movie is over. I don't remember the violence resonating that much in Crimson Peak.

You've been warned!

i don't think anything in this was as gory in a literal sense as the sink death in Crimson Peak. It was certainly more effective though. There's some good teeth stuff, eels, and one animal was slit open and a fetus fell out of it. On second thought, that last one was pretty gnarly.

Spoiler

I've heard about the disturbing dentist scene. And that's the only part I'm worrying right now.
I'm curious about how long did the scene last ?(I could make it through if it's like 30 seconds long.)
Also, was there a huge amount of blood spilling?

There was a bit - You see the drill bore into the tooth.. blood seeps out from the gumline and from the drill area. Then as the drill goes through the tooth the blood splatters across Lockhart's face and he has a look of contempt against the dentist, Dr. Brennan.
