Christopher Plummer as the Kaiser is brillant

The movie is decent, a thriller with a historical setting. Didn't read the book it was based on but Plummer as the Kaiser really make the film worth watching. He does a great job portraying the Kaiser in his last years, not only in exile physically in Holland, but in a way kind of in exile between periods of history between old Europe and these National Socialist that have come to rule Germany in the 1930s.

I thought Lily James nude scenes made the film worth watching. Being porked from behind and then grinding astride the German officer. The one thing that surprised me was how big her ass was in the flesh. Memorable.
