I went at 7:30 TONIGHT. The theater was more than half full. Missed the trailers. The audience clapped at the end. It was really good and very funny.

7:10pm, theater was full, audience seemed to enjoy the movie.

reply

I saw it today at 1:50. 15 people in the theater.

Trailers:
Absolutely Fabulous
Captain Fantastic
The Innocents
Life Animated

The audience laughed throughout, especially at the minister's scene and the scene when the manhunt is first announced. I enjoyed the movie. It's very funny and well-written, and has a very quirky, Wes Anderson-like feeling to it. My only criticism would be that the pacing was a bit uneven, and the scenes involving the Sam character felt fairly anti-climatic. Other than that, though, it's a very enjoyable time at the movies. Recommended. 7.5/10

We went to a 7:00 Friday night showing, cinema was about 1/2 full.

There were trailers. I couldn't tell you what, none of it appealed enough to stick.

Audience reaction was very positive, gasps & laughs where appropriate and applause during the credits.

Post-screening, we had a Skype Q&A with Sam Neill, which was quite lovely.

Oakville, July 18, 5 o'clock show, we were the only two people in the audience.

Later showing, about 9:45 or so and theater was less than half full, but it rarely fills up as this is kind of an "artsy" theater that specializes in independent and off-beat films. Audience, particularly the girl I was with, seemed to really like it.

Went at 2:30 on Saturday July 23rd...there was about a dozen other people in the theater aside from my gf and myself. The other 12 people were all 50-70 years old. Everyone laughed a lot throughout the movie.
