It was a really awesome movie. The accent is adorable. I'll have to visit NZ sometime. No, it's a great movie, really. Different. Makes me want to visit NZ. The nature is incredible. It's a good story. *buying my ticket to NZ*
shareI don't think it's an ad for NZ anymore than a movie that takes place in the States is an ad for the States. It's a Kiwi movie: Kiwi director, Kiwi actors, Kiwi location.
But, yeah. You should visit. The movie didn't include the most gorgeous scenery in NZ, which happens to be in the South Island.
No, it definitely did have NZ's best gorgeous scenery, which is the properly lush North Island :).
They didn't make it strikingly obvious, though, withholding the majestical Tongariro national park from view.
