Lucy
Can some one explain to me why they fired her
shareI think it was for several reasons. One, they didn't need her anymore. Cooperman chose her to work on that case because of her personal background--the story about her brother. They knew they could use it to create sympathy with the jury. Also, once it became clear that she might not be as cold of a shark as the lead chair, they cut her. Remember, Cooperman said multiple times that he disliked weakness. Even when McBride's ex tried to get him to support Lucy and help her--saying she would be good for him--he refused. His pride and cruelty was his downfall.
shareThe other women were jealous when Cooperman made the same move on her he made on them when they were younger and ambitious.
Cooperman had his way with her, and because of her speech impairment realized she wouldn't become a courtroom superstar.
Cooperman was using Lucy the whole time. She was both naive and ambitious enough to fall for it; and that was her mistake.

The moment I saw Callie do it, I thought: "Too soon"
I guess she was in such a hurry to hurt Lucy that
she didn't really measure the consequences.
For a big shot firm as theirs, they kept
misreading the dangers, the jury, . . .
I felt bad for her.
