I just came here because of the cartoon Scottish accents. I'm half expecting Russ Abbott to appear at any time.

Way too many Scottish characters and way too few Scots playing them. It makes the show really hard to watch;

Yeah totally comic accents that can't be ignored. Made it impossible for me to watch. I got as far as half way through episode 2, couldn't stomach any more. Pity.

and the irish... why can't productions hire actors from the regions they're supposed to be protraying - there's got to be enough of them out there. It grinds my gears. Plus, london wide-boy accent on an english officer? Must try harder.

I'm Scottish myself and as soon as I heard these accents, I knew instantly they were not Scots. Only one does a half decent job, the rest are awful. I think I would enjoy it more if not for these atrocious accents
