Edward Norton, what happened?

He was the most interesting actor of his generation.

Now, it seems he has burned his bridges or he just doesn't have any ambition anymore.

He's still a fine actor. He was great in Birdman and received an Oscar nom for his efforts. I don't know what you two are talking about.

Not sure if it's by choice or not but it seems like he's been only picking supporting roles of late.

He was great in Birdman and very funny in Moonrise Kingdom, but as an Edward Norton fan who is used to performances like American History X, Primal Fear, Fight Club, Rounders, 25th Hour, etc. I've been impatiently waiting for Norton to have an Oscar worthy performance as a lead.

10 years ago, Norton would probably be the lead in this film but Will Smith is just more bankable at this point. Hopefully Norton will get a best supporting nod.
