I'm Black and Marlon is just an embarrassment.

I NEVER found his brand of coon-comedy even mildly amusing. His comedy takes Brothers back in time like Tyler Perry movies. He is the least funny of the Wayans to me.

Look how the trailer was cut, alone,

"Are you going to marry her?
No.
What if she get pregnant?
Hell no."
.

He is indicating Black men think it's cool to abandoned fatherhood.

Non of the men in my friends or family think it's cool to do that. So I don't know where he was going with that crap.

Marlon is the type of slave that would get whipped and say "Thank you sir, may I have another?"

I agree with you my friend but let me expand on your thoughts. Tyler Perry is still a valuable asset to hollywood...a terrible writer/producer/director... But still valuable to hollywood. And through all the years the wayans have been in hollywood they have only done maybe 4-5 things worth anything. They've been at it longer than tylers had a career but they both make a *beep* load of coonery garbage. Black people should boycot this kind of *beep*

I agree.

holy f#ckin sh!t dude, its just some silly comedy, dont take it so seriously, i dont and i dont know one person who watches wayans bros movies and takes them seriously. for instance the movie dont be a menace while drinkin your juice in the hood, if you take any second of that movie seriously then you wont like one second of it. however if you just want some cheap laughs at some ridiculous content, then LAUGH away, because that is what these spoof movies are all about LAUGHS!

/sigh

so because it's a comedy, we are not allowed to criticize it? not even if the jokes are really bad and stereotypical?

reply

These types of movies just reinforce that there is too much money/political power in keeping the status-quo of racist stereotypes and the myth of prevalent "white racism".

And because there's no equivalent stereotypes of white people that would evoke extreme reactions, they (white people) cower in the background, walking on eggshells.

reply

that "Could" be true, but can you prove it? no you cant. so stfu or do something about it.

reply

Prove what? That there is incredible power/money in the cottage industry of "racism"?

Just look at the balance sheets of people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

reply

absolutely no idea what exactly you are referring to in "That there is incredible power/money in the cottage industry of "racism"?" and "balance sheets of people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton."
is that something, that is common knowledge to the sheeple, that you need to prove something like what you referred to?
because that is my point, even if everything is absolutely %100 true and more(most likely correct), can you prove it without a reasonable doubt?

reply

Can you prove the opposite beyond a reasonable doubt, counselor?

reply

exactly my point. see? nothing will ever be done about it until it can be proven Truth.
Veritas Aequitas = Truth Justice
cant have justice without truth.

reply

That is true. it does.

And just put the user: xthe_shiznitx on your ignore list like did, he's just a basic troll.

reply

Hm?

reply

It's a comedy, nearly everything Marlon makes is comedy, if you take *beep* too seriously that is your problem.
