I grew up in small town Ontario, and this show is so spot on it's scary

The characters, the slang, and how Wayne says *beep* so fast after another word it might as well be a comma... all of it is 100% legit.

Not to mention the plaid shirts, whiskey drinking, and fighting. Oh man... this is like watching my teenage years play out on screen.

I am living in a small town in Ontario (Elliot Lake) and this show is spot on. Love it.

Really. I kinda wondered....

I've lived in Toronto my whole life and only ever drove by small towns in the states. I want to visit one in Ontario just to see how it is... I'll probably stick out like crazy

Even in the not so small towns this is standard, I live in a mid-sized city in Ontario but if you're part of the local sports community this is basically how we live.

I'm an Amurican (but don't hold that against me), and I never knew what small town Ontario life was like. Actually I never even considered what it was like, but then again, I'm an Amurican.

I'm on Season Two and I LOVE it! I might just have to visit Sudbury some day.

No it's not. The ''fubar movies'' are much closer to the lifestyle and accent. Letterkenny is a rural fantasy. It also glosses over the amount of drug use that goes on in small Canadian and Ontario towns.

Well as the show being a comedy I'm sure they don't want to bring the fun down with the "special" episode about drug abuse.

I remember in the 1st season Stewart was really bad on drugs, by the final episode of the current season I can't even tell if he does drugs anymore.
