The ONE question the Deniers can't answer....
Why were the camps set up, if not as death camps?
For example, in the United States, the Internment Camps (which were wrong, of course, and have been apologized for) were at least done for a specific reason - the war declared by Japan against the United States. There was obviously a great fear of people sympathetic (and possibly traitors) to the U.S. living among others. [Sadly, we are seeing a repeat of these issues today with anti-Muslim sentiments].
No such explantion can apply to Germany, Poland, etc. The "Jews" had not declared war against their homeland, and neither had the Roma, handicapped and other groups who ended up in the death camps. In point of fact, some of the most assimilated Jews of Europe were from Germany, Austria, etc., and many of them were quite patriotic.
So, go ahead, show us WHY the camps were set up, if not for Genocidal purposes. What "products" were these slave laborers producing?
