Who cares what Mel Gibson watches. He should be made to watch the Passion of the Christ on rerun! Hated that movie!
Denying an historical event doesn't mean approving it even if it indeed happened...

Gibson is a pussy.
This is made quite evident by his refusal to categorically denounce his father's anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial.
I mean, he seems completely unable to say anything remotely like this:
"I love and respect my father... Always will. He raised me, taught me valuable lessons for life. But in regards to the Holocaust and the crimes of Nazism he is completely wrong. I disagree totally with him on that subject. That doesn't mean I don't still love and respect him because of this one issue on which we will always disagree."
Apparently, Gibson simply isn't man enough to say that.
I love & respect my dad, too -- and part of that love/respect is the ability to tell him when I think he's full of crap. (The reverse is true as well.)
Gibson doesn't do that, in my opinion, because he actually agrees with his father.
