The latest episode's time rule (spoiler)

It's pretty interesting how there's both changed and non-changed timelines in the DB universe, and how they managed to make them co-exist. If you're a god you can change history, but if you're a human history stays the same.

Thus, with Beerus destroying present Zamasu Black Goku's creation must be undone... right?

07/08/06... 786... the sentinel of Allah has arrived.

It's very confusing. I guess each universe has multiple alternate timelines

Actually I already explained this here http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4644488/board/flat/261156196?d=261158285#261158285. Trunks concerns are valid at the end of the episode, he stated while the androids were destroyed in the present timeline, they still existed in his future, this included Cell and Dabura, and his future timeline remains unchanged, meaning everyone remains dead. This is all because of the split timeline, one timeline does not effect the other, they're literally two different universes. Now he can travel further into the past and make other changes like when Goku fought Piccolo, but by doing so he would create another timeline universe. So to keep things simple, going back into the past is futile since he can't change history and his timeline would remain the same, all he can do is go back in time and train to become stronger so when he goes back to his future he can make a difference there. Sounds confusing, but it's rather a simple yet tragic concept.

It goes back to X-MEN'S "Days of Future Past" (the comic book storyline, not the movie) which I always thought might have been an inspiration for the Cell Saga. The X-Men thought that by sending someone to the past and change the decisive event that caused their dark future, they could eliminate this reality. Instead, they created a different timeline (and the story's ending suggested that the dark future might still happen in the new one).
