I'm pretty sure Chi-Chi kissed Goku in Dragonball, but I don't remember. Toriyama may have just forgotten (he forgets a lot of stuff). In any case, you don't NEED to kiss to have sex. Or maybe Goku just never saw feeding mouth to mouth, and that was what surprised him. But, knowing Goku, probably not.

One could interpret Goku's words in that he never took the offense of kissing Chichi. In other words, it was always Chichi who kissed him, but never the other way around.
It'd be funny if, after Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma come back from the future, Goku suddenly kisses Chi-Chi (to see what Vegeta was talking about), surprising everyone, especially Chi-Chi.
