Was touching at the end how Howard held Emily's hand and read to her and that's how it ended.
What was the deal with other Howard being put into the room with the hood over his head? Ian said to put him away so he'd never see him again, so is Howard basically in solitary confinement?
I have to watch this again, before I can comment sensibley; but I think this was as good a seasonal one close as I have ever seen. The two Howards are not trading places any longer; they are becoming the same man! The same strong, virile, sensitive and caring Man. Wonderful, and almost, but not quite, unexpected. Bravo! Peter and Other Clare have made a self-interested rapprochement. That’s very interesting. It makes sense; but, like the kind-hearted Howard/hard-hearted Howard political impasse dilemma, creates a delicious dilemma. I may have more to say after I view the final episode of this season again, but I, for one, am very pleased by how well this is playing out. That Silk and Baldwin partnered up rocked my world! This series is about human relationships, and with these two characters fucking MELDED with each other, their narrative conflicts notwithstanding. I am more than stoked for Season 2. How about you?
Just re-watched it. Imprisoned Howard took his hood off. He’s not going to be there for long. The narrative demands that he not be. Best guess? The not-his Emily will find him. Do you think that this will all finally culminate in an endless round of inter-world spouse swapping?
