We first see that Miles and Gwen first meet in class which was before the portal was initially opened, which make it impossibly for her to be in this universe.
Am I missing something or how is this possible?
She came in just before Miles' first day of school and her spider sense lead her to Miles. Also she probably snuck into school and stole a uniform to get to Miles. Also I'm pretty sure the test of the dimensional portal machine we see by Kingpin at the beginning was not the first test. Everyone of the Spider-people came in at different times.
