Let's face it... offscreen rivalry isn't exactly uncommon on movie sets... some have affected a movie's quality like 'FANT4STIC'... others have not, like 'Three Kings'.
The thing is; will Vin and Dwayne ever settle their differences? Because if this franchise is to continue, they're going to have to make up soon...

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
Apparently Vin and Paul fought too and there was internal conflict, but it was more like people who've know each other for a long time squabbling. With the new dynamic Vin doesn't have that personal history with the Rock, so it's almost literally butting heads for territory. Vin helped start the franchise with Paul and Rob Cohen, but the Rock helped save it later from extinction. Hopefully it's not a big issue.
