Is he going to be hanged by the neck at some point?

I mean, that IS what happened to the original Pinocchio in the ORIGINAL fairytale.

Oh, but then again, this is a sanitary Disney fabrication, isn't it, so NO such harm will come to him, eh?

I highly doubt it. Disney is most likely just going to make the same movie all over again, with some woke changes here and there.

There’s a good number of Pinocchio movies that are closer to the book.

He gets hung in Matteo Garrone's 'Pinocchio' from 2019, which is pretty faithful to the darker stuff from the original fairytale.

From what I've seen so far, Garrone's film is far superior to Disney's, which is simply a remake of the animated film with a few extra bells and whistles.

There will probably be some kind of inclusiveness/trans tie-in for the wokeheads. A puppet being turned into a kid is ripe for it.

If that happens, another reason to boycott this movie.

I saw that one last year, I never read the original book or saw the entire Disney classic. Therefore, I was shocked by the dark themes. Man was the Blue Fairy cold! But Pinocchio was a block head who created his own misery at times. Boy did the Judge hit a basic truth home by saying only the good go to jail. Pinocchio wanted to press charges against the fox and cat who stole his gold coins. Of course they
would have never known about the money if dumb Pinocchio had kept his mouth shut. I was really shocked to learn in the original story, the puppet killed Jiminy. I think in the movie, he only injured him.
