Always excited when Arnie has a new film out. Just wondering if anyone has heard when it'll be released? I'm guessing because it's low budget it'll probably get shopped around for a distributor like Maggie did initially.
shareI am looking forward to it whether it goes to theaters or video. I have watched everyone of his movies since he resumed acting and have enjoyed everyone of them. I would sure like to see him get a blockbuster hit. Sometimes when someone is out of the business for awhile it is hard to get going again. I thought Maggie really showed that he could get out of his comfort zone and do something different. Arnold is one of those actors who is better when he does not say as much but can still make his point. Hang in there Arnold, I am in your corner.
shareI agree with you. I'm a huge Arnie fan, but unfortuntely I can't see him being in a massive hit again unless he's part of a modern day Superhero/Franchise picture. It's the same for majority of stars out there these days.
Saying that though I don't need his movies to be huge hits, obviously it'll help that they make profit. I'm happy with his lower budget movies these days, The Last Stand was enjoyable, Sabotage was a throwback to old 80's R Rated thrillers. Maggie was a solid drama and Arnie delivered a quality performance. I do hope if they do another Expendables movie that Arnie gets a bigger portion of screen time.
Unlike Maggie, 478 already has a distributior in place. It's coming out with Lionsgate Premiere. Which is Lionsgate new big VOD division. They release a big movie once a month with stars. Previous months included Extraction with Kellen Lutz and Bruce Willis, Exposed with Keanu Reeves, Misconduct with Anthony Hopkins, AL Pacino and Josh Dummel. Now this month is Get a Job with Anna Kendrick and Miles Teller. 478 should get release a lot faster then Maggie did. Which spent a year, just looking for a US Distributor. They will probably try to get it in a film festival this fall as well. So my guess is 478 will come out between October or November 2016.

My guess is September, due to Lionsgate Premiere releasing their films monthly. Can't wait for this movie, mostly because I'm in it.
