He's starred four movies at the box office since he came back. Yes none of them did all that well for their budget in the US. But Escape Plan did 140 million Worldwide and Terminator Genisys made 440 million Worldwide. So he obviously still has a audience with the right film. If every actor who has a few flops in a row should retire. Well there would be very few leading men in Hollywood. How many flops has Russell Crowe, Colin Farrell, Johnny Depp or even Chris
Hemsworth had in recent years? Heck how many flops did Keanu Reeves have before he had a hit with John Wick.

To add to that, just because they were "flops" doesn't mean they're not good. Maggie showed a hell of a performance from him, despite it being a flawed film. The Last Stand?? That was a terrific action film too. Escape Plan had its cliches but was still solid and had me guessing till the end. I still keep going to his films, as well as stallone's, Gibson, etc...I love these guys. Always have, always will.
