They really Mary Sued her for the movie version

-Right off the bat as a young child she's already arrogant and cocky with her acrobatics as she pulls her savior moves to save herself from falling off the roof.

-When she's all grown up and learning how to be a wife she's already pulling more acrobatic moves by catch all of the tea set parts just as they were falling.

-When she reaches the camp to get trained to be a warrior she's already on par with the men, even show casing her skill with her boy crush and all she did was stand guard for night duty and did a few kung fu practice sessions and now she's uber pro.

etc. etc.

Literally no experience, chasing chickens to the coop and with no training whatsoever but she's pulling off Quan Chi combos. Only thing she did right was carrying buckets of water up to the summit. Even in the animation version she was training hard and it shows as the many mistakes she'd make then improve as the singalong plays out all the while improving along with all the men.
