Just finished season two and right to the end, Hamill was astounding. His character, the writing he got, and the performance itself were full-throttle and made the whole show a pleasure. I'd watch a whole show about Talus.
I found myself thinking about Talus as an "alt-hitorical" take on old Luke Skywalker. He's been everywhere and seen it all, and now he's training young Templars/Jedi to take up the faith AND the (laser) sword. He's unstoppable, powerful, wise, fatherly, brutal, and a little cracked in the head. Do you love him? Maybe... But you definitely respect him. It's not necessarily his story anymore, but here he comes anyway, like a gravity well bending spacetime around him. He'll light your path, baby, and shove you down it if you lack the courage or conviction to start on your own. I really wish this was closer to what we found in the new Star Wars films. Coulda been epic...
