A must-see

A gorgeous, morbidly comedic mix of No Country For Old Men, The Neon Demon and The NeverEnding Story, Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals is a visual feast by way of a cerebral mind-*beep*. Ford, fashion-designer and filmmaker, makes it clear from the get-go he’s playing with the audience with a beautifully photographed but jarring opening credit sequence tailor-made to make certain audience members laugh nervously. Adapting Austin Wright’s novel Tony and Susan, Ford has created a luxurious-looking exploration of weakness, dissatisfaction and revenges both personal and petty: http://www.cutprintfilm.com/reviews/nocturnal-animals-tiff/

My thoughts also, based on the trailer and storyline. Any film which combines characteristics of The Neon Demon and No Country for Old Men sounds good right off the bat.....and with this cast. I'm there.

Really looking forward to seeing this. I love Tom Ford's work. He creates such richly deep and all consuming cinema that you just drown in it. A very creative individual who uses every aspect of a movie from the script to set design to music to photography to create a true and complete whole that just envelopes you as a viewer .

I think this one will turn out pretty well, even though some of the early reviews are a bit divisive.
