The Koons piece was definitely genuine, as was Damien Hirst's "St Sebastian: Exquisite Pain": both have been mentioned a lot in reviews of the film.
Having said that, I had similar thoughts to you about the two works the OP is asking about. The "REVENGE" painting just seemed a little too "convenient", and therefore made me suspect it had been commissioned for the film (although you never know...) Also the "execution" piece made me think of the famous Saigon photo too, but it could still be an already-existing work that was inspired by that photo...
