Johnson's performance was quite good but I was surprised he was nominated, let alone won. Shannon's performance was better but I always knew there would be no chance he would win. It just wasn't a very specially written character to give him an Oscar for it, no matter how well acted it was

He should win it! I haven't been so impressed with a performance since Daniel Day Lewis in There Will Be Blood.
