walk outs?

any one walk out half way through or at a certain point and why ?

reply

I wish I did.

reply

I went to see it with my dad and he almost walked out during those ridiculous opening credits. They just went on and on and on...

reply

I walked out of my bedroom 4-5 times while trying to watch this free online.

reply

I felt the same way as your dad. It was a struggle to get past those completely unnecessary scenes of morbidly obese women. It was probably the most disgusting thing I have seen in any film. I did watch though, because I assumed it might be relevant to the rest of the movie.

After the movie, I could think of no good reason those scenes were included, or why they were so long.

reply

Ya this movie was just trying way too hard to be artsy...

reply

That's the crap Susan became famous and successful for. No wonder she hated what she was doing and that's the revenge Edward got on her. But I admit it was too long on too gross to shove it on the audience face. Luckily I didn't watch this in the theater and could fast forward this horror.

reply

i watched it for free online and made it to the end but its complete garbage

reply

You just admitted online that you are a thief and are subject to the laws pertaining. You've been reported to the authorities for theft.

reply

I almost walked out. I like reading movie credits and I couldn't stomach (ha ha) the obese jiggling dancers.

reply

I really don't understand how people can be offended by something so trivial.

Not wanting to stereotype but perhaps people in Europe have other values.
Naked bodies upset me far less than gratuitous violence, of which there is an abundant supply in many mainstream Hollywood films. Yet very few people seem to care about that.

Furthermore, why would you walk out on a film because of the opening credits?
The first 2 minutes are enough to make up your mind about a 120 minute film? Imagine judging any sports game on its first 2 minutes.

reply

I agree with you frederick, the dancers didn't bother me nearly as much as the god-awful screenwriting and disappointing ending.

reply

Depends on how you interpret the ending I suppose. Many topics on here have addressed that subject.

reply

Yeah, I've read the threads, and I haven't found a single theory that was either logical or interesting. But, obviously just my personal opinion.

reply

You still got ripped off. Its not even worth the bandwidth.

reply

If anyone was gonna walk out, it would've been in the first 5 minutes. I thought the rest of it was good.

reply

yes the idiots.
