Trivia says Hollywood loved the script

It's hilarious how it's assume that this movie has set out to demonize gun owners. No one on here has seen the movie and it sounds like most haven't read the script so making comments about, negative or otherwise, are ignorant and uninformed. An emotional reaction with no true understanding of the film's portrayal and expression of the issue and what the film is truly about. From the trailer, it looks like it more explore the state of DC and the influence the lobbying industry has congress. It does look like it's pro-gun control but that doesn't mean it's anti-guns. It's likely more pro-gun safety. More eduction and regulations on guns kinda thing. Responsible gun owners should be supportive of gun safety and rigorous regulations. If you're a law-abiding citizen of sound mind, you can own your gun. If you're prone to violence, crime, mental illness, perhaps owning a firearm isn't the best thing for society. Constitutional rights can be amended to suit the times. Owning a slave was once a right in America. Should slavery not have been abolished because it was a right? If laws can't be improved to better protect us, we're then living in an intractable, antiquated society. But, back to the point, I encourage you to wait till you see the film before you comment on what it's trying to say. It'll make you sound less angry, emotional, judgmental and sensitive.

Give me a break. If they were seriously anti-gun they'd stop making action movies.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
