Don't believe the poor reviews from gun nuts.
It's actually more of an anti-lobying movie than a pro gun control film. A pivotal scene involves of of the characters being saved by a concealed carry gun owner. At the end Sloan's lawyer sarcastically tells her "Congratulations. Criminals must now endure the hassle of getting their guns on the black market."
It's too bad right wing gun nuts always have to look at any sensible gun control as the Left's attempt to ban guns. Universal background checks are favored by the majority of people in the USA. Do the responsible gun owners really want terrorists, rapists, convicted felons etc... to have guns? Is this really up for debate?
Anyways it is a good movie if you're willing to look at it without the pro gun nut filter on. 7.5/10
