I thought Amaya and Zari are related?
I thought that Amaya was Zari's great grandmother or something? Did I get that wrong? what is their relationship if any?

They haven't said anything about Amaya and Zari apart from that they both have Totems, yes the Totems connected but they all do regardless it's how they won last season and why Darhk wanted them. As a note in the Comics Zari was known as Isis (last edition was 2011) and Amaya wasn't around she was just created for Legends, they changed the name to Zari for the TV Show however both are still Adrianna Tomaz though.
