Alan if only for Obsidian's story.

I'm hesitant to list anyone else, lest I see more favorites get ruined and butchered.

First on my list would be Starman, but we got Star Girl here, who I believe is a combination of Star Spangled Kid with Starman's gravity rod. Oh, well.

I'm glad to see Dr. Midnite. My big four was always Hourman, Sandman, Starman and Dr. Midnite, none of whom had dopplegangers in the JLA.

Next two would be Alan Scott Green Lantern and Jay Garrick Flash. Flash is covered left and right in Flash.

Will have to wait and see about the WWII GL, but I'll start off saying Starman.

How about Ma Hunkle? LOL!

She actually did have that small glimpse in Smallville. Just liked her recognition.

The only reason why I won't hold my breath on Sandman is cuz it will definitely have to be the pulp figure, which I didn't like. I prefer the wonderfully stale yellow-and-purple costume.

DC has a wealth of 1940's Characters they own from both Fawcett and Quality comics and missed opportunities to use any of them so far. All we've gotten so far are DC heroes, and those from mixed eras and altered versions of the JSA! Several are hardly the versions from the comics and some were not even in that era.

I Do like the African American change for Dr.Mid-Nite - as his secret identity is that of Dr.Charles McNider. An African American Doctor in the 1940's is a refreshing change!

However, They are mixing eras of JSA teams for the show - so why not a character or two from Quality and/or Fawcett?

How about Phantom Lady? Spy Smasher? Uncle Sam? (He's the REAL DEAL! Not just some guy but the true spirit of America!) IBIS the invisible?
