The original group was supposed to return very shortly to their lives after they dealt with Vandal Savage. That didn't work out well for them.

They could drop him back in 2016 ...but he still ages...or could get hurt or killed...he has plenty to do in his city at his time...and remember Eobard says he lives to be 86
