If the waverider got hit by the nuke and killed Rip why was there not a scratch on it in 2016? Hell, they even manage to fly it out of the ocean without an issue.

So what killed Rip? The deck seemed to be in perfect condition with not even a chair turned over.

Further more, if the nuke killed Rip, why would Mick being in statis protect him?

You could argue that the ship was damaged and couldn't fly so Rip starved to death but that wouldn't explain why it was in perfect working condition in 2016.

they never said he is dead, and also the waverider could still send people though time.

I dont know also, I think the writer has a special plot for rip in this,season
may be rip had done something to make,sure the ship to function again with some sacrifice
