Explain this to me

I didn't get this part:

They said that to prevent anyone from messing with the Einsteins again, they had to change one little part of history: They convinced Albert Einstein to share credit with his wife. So he did that. What did that accomplish, and how did that fix the problem or protect the Einsteins?

Because reasons

since his ex-wife was never officially credited for her work, they didnt think anyone ever knew of her connection to Einstein or her contributions to his work. As a result, she never had security like Einstein did. By "outing" her and giving her credit, we can assume she started having security of her own when she traveled and thus would never be kidnapped to help build the bomb.

reply

Right, because nothing bad ever happens to someone with security....lol

reply

Dont think it was about the security... If she gets recognition, her going missing would be recorded by history, giving them notice of a problem as opposed to what happened when she was kidnapped.

That makes more sense. Thx

Yes, I think that's the answer, thanks.
