Every time he attacks and/or counters there is a visible cut cause he cant do it right for sh*t (i guess). That is what made me hate it. The story has potential but the fight after ~9min was VERY terrible to watch. And later on why the *beep* do they do such a bad job with the fighting (CUT OBVIOUS STITCH TOGETHER). >_<

Beowulf is a super warrior in the tale. I found it amusing how out of breath he was after beating up 3 or 4 guys in the first tiny fight.
shareKieran Bew has actually won fencing competitions though. He was awesome in Da Vinci's Demons. In cases like this, I tend to think it's more a problem with editing or choreography than the actor.
shareKieren Bew won the under-16 and under-17 British Epee titles, competed throughout Europe, and placed 21st at the Cadet World Championships in 1996. He currently competes domestically for Haverstock fencing club. So I don't think it is his fencing ability that is the problem.
