Entertaining enough show. Problem is
They shouldn't have used a Game of Thrones comparison to market it. That created an expectation this show doesn't get near. And after they hyped the production costs, the end product makes it look like they got ripped off.
Fortunately for me, I watched a few episodes before reading anything about it. Therefore, I enjoyed it for what it appeared to be instead of being disappointed that it isn't what it's supposed to be. I had no expectations. I even marveled at some of the sets -- reminded me of 'The Lord of the Rings.' But at the same time, I noticed my nose upturned at some things including creatures that looked too much like those in 'The Lord of the Rings.'
It's ratings are poor and it's getting mostly negative reviews, I can only hope to be able to watch the full season before it's yanked.
