I've been on set, it is impressive looking and good attention to detail but I think they will be relying on a lot of CGI too.
shareI got to watch a web release on the weekend and YES it is an epic and shows very good potential graphical content. However the theme to the series is woeful.
It sounds just like 'Game of Thrones with the similar woodwork animation thrown in for good measure.
How could the producer be so stupid as to base the theme introduction sound and animation on G.O.T.
After the first episode.......it looks terrible
shareEverything has a plastic look to it from the weapons to the sets.
shareJust finished watching. Looks like it has potential. It didn't come across as GOT to me.
The acting, sets, costumes, & CGI were fine.
The writing/directing seemed a little off to me. There weren't many connecting points & the story seemed to be going everywhere in the pilot. It might make more sense after about 4 to 5 more eps.
I like "The Last Kingdom" so I thought this might be good as well.
Here's to future episodes & hopefully the story comes 2gether.
He was referring to the opening credits being very similar to the opening sequence in GoT, with all the moving pieces. I heard the theme music from another room and instantly thought of GoT as well.
shareI like it quite a lot, actually
share"Looks like this will really big!"
What does that actually mean? Did you miss a word?
