what a brilliant beautiful tribute to harold ramis, i was totally hooked after the original ghostbusters appear, up until then it's basically ghostbusters junior with a bunch of teenagers, but the ending was moving, with aykroyd tearful, by the way, doesn't aykroyd age? he looks very much like the 1980s movies, aykroyd appears in an earlier scene too, sigourney weaver doesn't appear until after the end credits, at least a bigger part than pamela anderson in the baywatch movie. when one of the teens is hanging outside the ghostbusters vehicle it looks like marty with the skateboard in "back to the future", their mother talks like a teenager herself. cool how much stuff they put in the end credits, first you think it's all been shown, but just keeps popping up scenes. aykroyd is such a good sport, he had actually returned in his role once before in a cameo in the children's 1990s movie "casper".
