I miss Collider.com's comments section

https://collider.com/ghostbusters-afterlife-review/

I cannot stand this smarmy know-it-all fucker. People used to LAY INTO him when Collider allowed comments. They got rid of them several years ago, but brought them back briefly a few years ago; only to get rid of them for good.

Comments sections and message boards can be an abyss. I am fully aware of that. The public is little more than a mob anymore. So, i get why they did it, but I miss people giving that holier than thou asshole shit.

It's not that he didn't like this movie that bothers me. It's not that he liked 2016: https://collider.com/ghostbusters-review/. It's how he speaks about people. How dare studios make movies "for the fans". *clutches pearls* He is such a snobby little asshole.

I remember around the release of The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker Collider, and particularly waged WAR on the fans. I'm not here to debate new Star Wars movies, but facts are facts (check the review sites) fans generally didn't like TLJ and preferred TROS; and critics were the exact opposite. There were 2 articles a week about why fans are stupid for not liking the ones the critics did. It was an obsession. They trashed TROS and trashed fans for not loving TLJ.

Same attitude you see in this review. Trashing fans.He loves staring down at us peasants.

Collider is great in the sense that they are updated frequently and never miss a story about TV or movies, but it's run by a bunch of wannabe intellectuals who look down on it's own readership. Being a fan is dirty to them. They are also waaaaaaaaayyyy too political.
