The scene with the prostitute added nothing to the story and felt totally unnecessary. Do you think he put it in just to pad the film's running time?

No! That's not true at all, Elvis takes 50% of everything I earn!

I disagree. The scene adds to Bobby's character. You understand his viewpoint more clearly. The idea of how sex was treated in this time.

I was thinking the same thing, to checking lighting? Otherwise, it had no merit.
