Boycotted him for years and years because of that. Until I saw Vicky Christina Barcelona on tv quite by accident and was able to figure out that while his filmmaking is brilliant, he is lower than low on the moral scale.

I agree with your post. Anyone who reads the report and looks into the case can see Allen may be an oddball, but it all comes down to him marrying her daughter.
I think she was out for blood. I believe the girl (young woman now) believes what her mother has been telling her for years.
It was a big mess and some people are still dealing with it.
