Woody's personal life

Is this just Woody Allen trying to defend himself from all of the stuff about him dating his ex-wife's adopted daughter? I don't know much about all of it and I haven't seen many of his movies, but I just kept rolling my eyes during all of the "what is age but a number?" Parts and other lines that seem to be parallel to his life.

I may be wrong, just curious what other people though?

Honestly, I think Woody gives Zero *beep* about what people think. Sure, it's obviously come out in his work because he's a personal filmmaker. But as far as an "Explanation" owed to anyone, I don't see it.

He said"the heart wants what it wants" I believe. He didn't just "date" the young woman, he married her and they are still together. She was a teenager when they fell in love, and while it's a strange situation it hardly qualifies Woody Allen as a child molester.

I doubt he would insert any apologies or defense of his behavior into his films, and I doubt the people who enjoy his work expect him to. I don't see any reason for people to bring it up, its very old news.

I'm not fond of this film, and my favorite Woody Allen films feature either Mia Farrow or Diane Keaton. It as long as he makes films I'll watch them. His personal life is none of my business.
