Can be seen at Hannover's Sprengel-Museum right now (Nov 2016 - Jan 17)
... 'Manifesto' being an art installation which depicts 12 scenes (on 12 screens simultaneously), all starring Cate Blanchett in very different roles: as a blue-collar worker, punk rocker, news anchor, homeless person, puppeteer (manufacturing a puppet of herself, quite creepy), choreographer (reminiscent of Norma Desmond), teacher etc.
All these persons spout different manifestos about art from the last hundred years in scenes of 10:30 minutes, culminating in ... well, see for yourself if you happen to be nearby.
Even if one isn't interested in the art or the manifestos themselves, the event is highly enjoyable for studying Cate's very different takes on the very varied characters.
