Horrible Mess

This movie may remind you of:
Event Horizon, but that is not a terrible incoherent bore of a movie. I mean, I dislike Event Horizon, but this helps to put it in perspective.

The acting is a mixed bag (some decent actors) but always sabotaged by cliche or simply odd dialog which sounds like it was poorly translated from Serbian, which it probably was. Directing and editing seem good serves a story that makes little sense. And while stories about encounters with the unknowable can be good (Solaris, Annihilation), this all seems to be intended to generate a sense of familiar fringe sci-fi tropes - A time/space portal, government coverups, a mysterious figure in a spacesuit, the dead walk... dogs and cats living together... Yeah, it might have been fun as a Ghostbusters outing. I watched the whole thing out of stupified amazement.

Others have already mentioned the music which is awful and randomly placed.
