I liked it (spoilers)

I thought it was a refreshingly new story. The actors did a fine job conveying the story and I was on the edge of my seat when she popped up behind the car holding the gun (even though I knew she'd be there).

People saying that they can't believe an 11 year old boy could drive a standard must have never been an 11 year old boy.

I don't think the skinny hyena necessarily meant to kill himself, but the fact that he did showed the length he would go to ensure his momma bear could get what she truly desired.

Also, we live in the age of twitter, Facebook and tons of other social media, not much is private. I don't think it would be overly complicated for this man/woman duo to pull off this same type of babbysitter highjacking a few times til the woman finds the child she wants. They case out a few families at a time in a particular area, figure out which ones use babysitters and focus on them. Then wait for the right time. The scenario in this movie isn't the only possible way they could have gained access, it's just the one we witnessed. Once they gain access, the woman makes a call on whether the kid is right for her or not. If not, she carries on as a normal babysitter and they move on to another town after and start over. If he is the right kid, well, we saw what happens.

Anyways, I liked the story. I thought a couple things were a little far fetched, but I was able to look past them to enjoy the overall storyline.
