After they killed the daughter's hamster, I had to turn this off. I like horror movies, but subjecting psychological torture on stupid kids is not my idea of a good time.
I wouldn't really call that a spoiler because it's in the trailer. But, I agree, disturbing. Plus that's also one of my fears. I hate snakes and I saw one eat a mouse once, (in a cage) and it really freaked me out. It seems really cruel. The animal has no way of escaping, it just has to wait for death. There's nothing natural about it.
Not really, if there was a point to her doing such things to the kids, as in she is just some sick b!tch that is a horrible babysitter then I could see it. But unfortunately the snake thing, making them watch hardcore porn and play with firearms was all just part of her main scheme of kidnapping the youngest 4 year old boy which btw if you're gonna snatch a child up wtf would you go through such trouble showing your face and murdering innocent people in the process. Not to mention her partner getting the call asking him to give her more time to get the child "ready" ends up accidently killing himself in his preplanned car crash, wtf was to made of that? The car was stolen with a body in the trunk(the real Annie) was he intending to kill himself because if he was then Emilie wouldn't have a car to pick her and the boy up, if he wasn't intending to kill himself was he thinking hit and run and then to what end, ah forget it, the writer is damned fool, there is no sense to be made of it.
It's such a shame to see a well produced, finely acted film with such a poorly written script.
Can I just ask how they happened to choose the replacement babysitter to kidnap? I didn't see any explanation to that? It couldn't have just been a coincidence could it?
