Extraordinarily Stupid

1 - Why did the boyfriend had to smash his car and get killed to buy her time. He could simply have laid down in front of the taxi seeking help etc.

2- Why did she have to turn out all the lights. What an idiot. In the end, she got undone by her own foolishness as she could not search for christopher

3- Why o why do you have to go through such an elaborate scheme to steal baby i.e. kidnap babysitter, forge identities etc. Just go to a less populated area and steal a baby in the park by pushing the mother aside. Simple as that!

1. I don't think it was his intention to get killed, for some reason he wasn't wearing a safety belt when he ploughed into the parents' taxi. Him dead-eye staring at the fire hydrant was pretty hilarious though.

2. Because bad writing.

3. She was looking for a particular baby to steal. He had to have all the right qualities: he got his own juice, he laughed when the snake ate the hamster, he empathized with the mother bear in her ridiculous bedtime story. The book was the best part. All the cliched pyschopath scribbings and overuse of a red crayon.

This movie is a piece of crap.

1. As the person above me stated, I don't think him dying was deliberate on his part. She was running out of time, he wanted to help her, and in a rush he crashed into the car, inadvertently killing himself.

2. In my personal opinion I thought she did it as a way to stall the parents even further when they got home.

3. Because on top of wanting a new baby she was also psychotic. In a way she was being smart about it: Stealing the babysitter, posing as her, etc. A very well thought out plan. What would get you caught faster? Posing as a babysitter and running away with the baby, or bum-rushing a mother at a park? She was being smart.

Am I Dreaming???
