Just finished watching it, one question?

So the only thing stuck in my mind is the 9mm PAK marking on the revolver.
Was there a purpose for the blank gun or is it supposed to stand for a real one?
Is there a director's cut with some scene explaining it?
Like the kids try using it and discover it only shoots blanks and get punished?

I think the gun was unloaded in the lock box and Emelie just didn't have time to put the bullets in. I'm not really sure because the scene wasn't very clear.
