Tattoo Brainwashing

And so it continues. Hollyweird takes the type of demographic that would not get tattoos and tats the person all over their body. Unless it is a lowlife celeb; Wealthy people rarely, if ever , get tattoos, especially innovative entrepreneurs or Attorneys and Doctors etc. It is depressing , because I see all these wannabes thinking their cool with their cigs hanging from their mouths. Stop it already Hollywood.

... what

reply

jealous that that your tattoos don't make you interesting anymore ?

reply

Smart enough to never have scarred my body in that way. Every convenience store, restaurant or whatever retail store, you see workers smoking with their sleeve tattoos in full view as well as those "Einsteins" that do landscaping with cigs hanging from their mouths and also with a bunch of tattoos. The idiots that do the landscaping do not even realize what a hazard it is to work with brush and risk a fire. Most Cali fires are started by uneducated smokers.

reply

So you're smart because you don't have tattoos? What kind of idiot logic is that? I bet you eat foods that scar your body and don't think twice about it. Drink sodas? Alcohol? Hypocrite.

reply

At least I am not a follower. If you were really secure in your decisions, you would not care what an irrelevant stranger like myself thinks and get so bent out of shape about it.

reply

Funny how you turn it on me because of your own insecurities. I'm just pointing out how much of a hypocrite you are up there on your high horse- "scaring my body in that way" while you probably sit on your ass eating French fries and drinking soda- which you didn't deny.

Then you call me a follower which makes absolutely no sense when considering your original post that smart people don't tattoo themselves. You think yourself an intelligent person yet you don't have any tattoos which, according to your genius level intellect, makes you a follower.

Your hypocrisy is amusing and I am in no way bent out of shape. I simply find it humorous that self-proclaimed "intelligent" people, such as yourself, use the most idiotic arguments in an attempt to justify their intellect.

reply

I was going to disagree with the topicstarters stupid standpoint but seeing this crap I changed my mind.

Covering yourself in ink is only scarring yourself if you're dumb and 18. Most people wait until they reach a more mature age so they choose imagery they will still love when they're older. I don't have any, and I am glad I didn't get one when I was young. Probably would have been a ninja turtle or something.

You sound hella old... next you'll he yelling "get off my lawn"...

reply

People with tattoos are criminals.

reply

I was going to add 'Tattoos are for sailors', but you one-upped me.

reply

This dude sounds like he holds a grudge to the cool kids from his past.

😂😂

reply

Get off my lawn, you lousy punk!!

reply

You have a point, 95% of inmates have tattoos and their currency is cigarettes.

reply

where did you get those statistics? and even if ALL criminals are tattoo'd, that doesnt mean all tattoo'd people are criminals.Hence taylor swift...although what shes doing to tom hiddleston i consider criminal...

reply

Thanks for proving my point. You all follow the celebs and get those things. My money is still and yours too on the convict having a tattoo over a professional like a doctor or lawyer. If tattoos were so classy, why do attorneys make their clients cover them? I emulate up, not down.

reply

I know 3 attorneys and they all have tattoos, some celebratory. I have tattoos of poisons because I'm a chemist and they are celebratory of my degree. I know tatted, pierced, dyed weirdos that make more money then anyone should and have never broken law. When you judge, you don't allow yourself to go places or experience things miss out on parts of life that could make you a better person. But stay in your safe bubble.

reply

I have every right to judge appearance. Everyone does it. We judge the appearance of whom we date, our friends, restaurants, products packaging etc. I will always believe tattoos to be classless and ugly looking and that is my right to believe that as I believe that people that do that sort of thing are insecure , follow the crowd people that are smokers in most cases. Sure an occasional attorney might have a tattoo, but again my money is on the convict. Why do you even care what an irrelevant stranger like myself thinks? If you were so secure in your decisions, you would just laugh it off as I do when people try to judge my hair length. At least the hippies were able to cut their hair and were not dumb enough to do anything permanent, ditto the 80's crack whores , who were able to dye their hair back to a normal color. You have every right to get every nook and crannie tattooed on your body and I have every right to find it offensive, dirty looking and nasty. You see how that works?

reply

yep absolutely right, Greatornot. My general impression too.

And WORLD, know this: we are all entitled to our every opinion.
The same goes for you. Just do be AWARE we are all judging each other every single move you make.

And please don't try to argue otherwise!

Again, we ALL judge every single thing we come into contact with, very often, knowingly or at minimum, on subliminal level.

It's a good thing we do so.
That's how life works. Also usually helps us enormously.

And fortunately, our eyes, using them to observe, are part of what helps us assess things, situations (the true nature or context of them) & most of all, people.

We assert WHO we are to others in many, many ways.
From the moment we get up until we fall asleep, that is happening.

One HUGE signal to others is how we choose to appear.
Another, what we choose to say. Still plenty of others exist...how we treat others, our values & such.

So ALL of life contains a heck of a LOT of judgment.

Insecurity is RIGHT!
If not, like OP writes, WHY so defensive?
Just wear your tattoo proudly and be on your merry way.
But yes.... KNOW....we--and it's many of us, not all OLD-- will judge you silently. Some maybe not so silently (in form of looks & such).

Why? Because you speak volumes through your tattoos, piercings & clothes (among other things)

IF anyone thinks (and I do quite often) you might not be very bright, why care?
Yes, it's my hypothesis (and most others) that it's one of your ways to call out attention to yourself;
most of us rightly assume you're craving to to be noticed (in a pretty stupid, for-now trendy & permanent way), that's about it.

But hey....you can run on my lawn anytime.
Way to go returning a stereotype. Which yep, you're FREE to do in YOUR own opinion!!

reply

Tattoos are full of crap, you want to be noticed.... Jump off a building.
