Funny scenes held together with a weak narrative

Don't get me wrong, I got plenty of laughs but it's just that: laughs. The plot is very simple and resolves itself almost too easily

It seemed that there were two scenes where James and Bryan were trying not to laugh
this got the biggest laugh from me
I love it for a depressing day

"You're watching too much Sopranos, when you give your kids their allowance in envelopes"

You're right. It does have an extremely simple plot. I still loved it though!

I kind of agree. But with a comedy I'm more able to forgive a weak plot so long as it consistently keeps me laughing, which this movie mostly did.
