Season 2 episode 1 - did I miss something? (spoiler for end of season 1)

I thought that the end of season 2 they whole store got fired and the asst manager woman took over after they striked. The beginning of season 2 just has them all back to their old jobs. Did I miss something?

Not to mention Cheyenne's pregnant....AGAIN! 

All kidding aside:

The special episode that aired was not the first episode of season 2 -- it was just a special episode in salute to the Olympics.

Season 2 starts on September 22nd. 

Yeah, in the promos they appear to be in strike outside the store.
