How To Watch in 30 Minutes or Less

Step one: Record show
Step two: Skip all commercials
Step three: Whenever any two characters that have a history of hooking up or just flirting etc. appear on screen alone together, use your skip commercial button to skip 1 minute. You won't miss anything worthy.
Step four: Use your additional time to watch a show absent so many soap opera storylines like Elementary or *most of Homeland and Timeless.

If you want romance drama ? watch This Is Us. It's an incredibly well written and acted show. Keep action shows, action. Romance, romance. The writers of this show should stop trying to do both. You've jumped the shark.

I disagree. If you want a show like that, write your own and call it Robot Spies! They are human beings and have feelings.

We don't need to know all their whiny problems. Law & Order was on over a decade. They stuck to the story. The most they would say about their personal life was "the wife wants a divorce" as I said this show is sold as an ACTION DRAMA not a lame romance. There are plenty of romance tripe shows on. Those storylines don't push the overall narrative forward. This show is going to be cancelled.

I just skip every scene with Patterson, it makes it a shorter show, but it's much more enjoyable.

i have been doing this to all the shows i watch. You can watch suits in 20mins if you skip the scenes they keep saying "what do you mean" or something like that. I also usually skip all the random hookups, or teenage sex dramas and all the usual tv cliches.

This saves me a bunch when i'm binge watching multiple shows a week.

I don't know those shows, but yes the stupid hook ups etc. don't carry the overall arch of the story anywhere. They are just a distraction for simple minds. Fine in a show about that but this is supposed to be action. Nobody watches police action procedural shows to see cops/FBI kissing.

Yes, I disagree as well. What show doesn't show things? They show LIVES and people have FEELINGS, family/friends and ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS. Almost all shows are that way.

And this is why they keep failing. The shows that stick to the original premise stay on air. Look at the reviews, most say it "started great, but has..." Notice after they started having all the coworkers hooking up it got convoluted and just turned into a soap opera. There's already shows for that, ever wonder why those shows don't have car chases and shoot outs? Because they DONT belong! FBI agents do serious work and go home to their spouse that is a teacher. They don't all hook up with each other. It's stupid concept writers need to get over.
